The path from $1k to $10k+ a month goes through a solid sales pitch.

There’s a LOT of do this to make $10k in the next 2 months, do that to make $40k on the internet, but most of these guides are written from a very narrow lens, and they don’t tell you one thing — WHERE DO I START?

Today, I’ll tell you exactly how you can make $5k in 7 days in simple words. Make sure you subscribe and bookmark the post.

But first, you need to hear this story.

I have 1k Baht left with me, and I am leaving Thailand tomorrow; I obviously need to spend the money. I decided to make the most out of those 1k.

My goal — is to get the maximum number of items in that money. But I didn’t want to pick just any low-quality stuff out there.

So, my best option was the street markets. They had good quality stuff for cheap because the clothes were dupes of major brands.

OKAY, so I am wandering around in the pathetic Thailand heat with no idea how and where to spend the 1000 bucks. Finally, I recognized a voice. ‘Miss, you came here yesterday, right? I remember your smile; she immediately showed me 2 of her best pieces and discounted them even before I opened my mouth. She was giving off the same stuff for a lower price. ‘Only for you, miss, because you come back here’ She tries her best to speak in English.

And honestly, I loved the pieces. I already wanted them and grabbed them immediately. She held my hands and said thank you. Told me about her daughter, I promised to revisit her, and I left with A BIG SMILE on my face.

Yes, she was a true marketer but beyond everything, her intentions were great, and the positive energy she gave off was everything. In a world full of meaningless transactions, I’d like to focus on true, meaningful interactions.

So, what lessons do you pick from the story?

  • You need to find a place where people are desperately looking to hire someone (like I was looking to buy).
  • You need to bring your best 2 services where you have a ton of experience and sell them as a bundle.
  • Discount the bundle so that it’s cheaper for them but still a win-win for you.
  • Show them that you genuinely give a fuck about their business by adding personalization.

Here’s an example. I went to Angelist, now Wellfound, after a long time and ONLY pitched 2 businesses I found really interesting.

This is the response I got.

The response was way longer than this. It showed that my message really highlighted the pain points of the founder.

In this case, the ball is in my court. I can charge something I want, and the founder will happily pay because I invested a few hours in understanding his problem.

Even though things didn’t turn out well for me here because they didn’t have a solid budget, and the founder was transparent about it in the message, I did get on a call with the other company.

Depending on what you charge, you can make anything between $5k to 10k, even if you send 10 pitches in 6 days.

Imagine 7 people respond, and 4 of them convert, $5k is going nowhere.

Now, the question of the hour is, what did I write in my message to get this response?

Well, this is a strategy I’ve been using for years now, and it helped me land my last 2 jobs on Wellfound. I am selling the pitch on Gumroad only for $10.

Honestly, I’ve debated internally on this. There’s no chance I would have ever shared it online because I always felt like keeping it to myself. But, I feel if there’s someone genuinely looking to invest in their business/career, it could really help them.

The reason for the price is that the pitch will be way your way to $5k/month and more. 100% If you use the pitch to send a good no. of pitches a week and you do everything according to what I mentioned above and still don’t get a response, show me your effort, and take the refund.

I am saying this because I know there’s no way this won’t work.

+ you can always add reviews/ratings on Gumroad. A lot of creators use the platform and we don’t control the ratings at all.

That’s it, folks. Thanks for reading:)

Have a great week ahead.
